We keep this short and honest: FastFile exists to let you move files between people. Here’s what we do with the little information we handle.

What we store

When you upload a file, we store the file itself and a short record of its name and size. Each file gets a random link. We don’t ask for an account, and we don’t show ads.

When you share by email

If you email a link, we send a single message from our system containing that link. We don’t keep a log of who you emailed.

Basic technical data

Like any website, our server sees a connection’s IP address and time of access. We use this only to keep the service fast and to spot problems. We don’t tie it to a person.

How long we keep files

Files are deleted automatically 30 days after they’re uploaded, or sooner if you ask.

Your choices

Links are private — only someone with the link can download. You control who gets a link, and you can ask us to delete a file at any time before it expires.
